This afternoon we had a special visit from Constable Bryan and his police dog Bobby. They came to tell us all about the special numbers on our house hold items like fridges, televisions, iPads, computers and cell phones. They told us that items like this have different "serial numbers" on them. They told us how important it is for our parents to note down these serial numbers encase our items are ever lost or get stolen. If you know the serial numbers on your stuff it may help you get them back if they are ever stolen. Visit the website www.snap.org.nz to learn how to create and store an asset list of your property. SNAP stands for "serial number action partnership" and it's all about educating people on how to keep their property and belongings safe.
