Short cut to school. This story is about a boy called David and a girl called Amy who were running to school. Amy and David were terrified of Mrs Pratt, they thought she was a witch. Amy suddenly realised she was still wearing her pj shorts so she gasped to David "oh no I have still got my pyjama pants on". Then they decided that they had to go through Mrs Pratt's garden.They ran to Mrs Pratt's but she was outside hanging her clothes on the washing line. Amy was afraid but finally spoke up and said "sorry, we we're running late for school and we were just wondering if we could pas through here". "Ok" she said sounding like a normal person. David and Amy looked very puzzled. "Just be carful around that fence wire" said Mrs Pratt. In the end they didn't think Mrs Pratt was a witch at all.
